On Saturday, September 28th the 49th Street South Business Association, Gulfport Chamber of Commerce and the cities of Gulfport and St. Petersburg along with The Storage House, PIPO's, Omaddy's bar & Grill, Mr. Bills Fine Foods, Gulfport Gabber, Gulfport Patch, Studio Rhino, Suncoast Blues Society, Gulfport Merchants Association, Tampa Bay Rays, Sun Star Paramedics, DRLCI Software Solution, Sailaway Reality, Wal-Mart Stores, FCG, JSR Training, Gulfport Liberty Tax Service, Coke Cola, Local Shops 1, Zoomers Auto Body, Safety Tire, Sam's Club, 007 Computer Services, will co-sponsor the 6th Annual Tangerine Blues Festival on the Tangerine Greenway at 49th Street & 18th Avenue South
This FREE event will feature a powerful line-up of great Bluegrass and Blues bands:

- 2:00 pm - The Blue Grass Sound Band (Bluegrass Headliner)
4:00 pm - Charlie Morris
5:30 pm - Lauren Mitchell Band
7:00 pm - TC Carr
8:30 pm - Selwyn Birchwood (Blues Headliner)

So49.org, consisting of independent businesses along 49th Street South in Gulfport/St. Petersburg grew its donations from $1,200 in 2010 to $5,000 in 2011 to $10,000 in 2012!
